I really need to catch up here. Things to post and such. I'm getting married on the 28th of this month, next Friday so maybe after that I'll get to creating more artwork. Taking College Algebra online from UWFDL and it's kicking my butt.

Dennis and I are moving from WA to Norfolk, VA next June. I'll probably end up going to school there and finishing my degree. Finally.

Been working on my sister's Marilyn Monroe painting (still, I know) and knitting some things. Also I have another piece of driftwood to paint for a coworker, but that's for later.

I don't think anyone really reads this anymore but I've decided to post this, just in case.

Nothing new. Washington's good. I have a job at a custom framing and art supply store that is holding me off for something better (pay-wise and benefits-wise) though. I have been taking a lot of photos, but haven't done any drawings (no excuse) or paintings because my stuff isn't out here yet. And it won't be for at least another 2 months.

Sigh.

I want to paint and get my hands dirty.

Moving to Washington State on February 24th!!!

I really really hope that I can get some artsy inspiration out there. I wish I had some real talent. Bugs me at how some 15-twentysomething year olds on this site totally knock me out of the water. I want to knock someone/something out of the water for once. I have to light a match under my ass to do it. So, here I go.

Well, the Marilyn painting isn't done, nor have I gotten the money for my logo design or my golf course painting back. I think someone's head needs to be beaten in. It's been a year now.

Anyway, no new drawings or paintings--I'm way too busy trying to work as many hours as I can to save up some money and getting homework done to finish this semester. I'm very worried about my math class (as usual) and if I didn't pass my 2nd exam (I get to see my results tomorrow), I probably won't graduate this semester. I'm trying to not give up on the whole school thing.

I'm going to Washington State in January with my friend Dennis and staying for a little over a week. Very very excited for that. I might just end up moving out there. Why not? This town doesn't do it for me anymore (wait--it never did). I never felt like I belonged here, anyway. I'm just hoping wherever I go, I will feel like I belong. Who knows. All I know is that I'm getting a little preview of what it would be like to live out there, so I'm fricken pumped.
